Erica Messinger

Director Worldwide University Program

Erica Messinger became the Keysight Technologies Director Worldwide University Program in early 2016 to provide strategic vision and leadership for the company’s multi-tiered engagements with Universities and Academic/Research Institutions.  She works collaboratively across various touchpoints throughout Keysight to unify and optimize investments in the “education ecosystem.”  This includes placement of Keysight solutions among the next generation of engineers, impacting research partnerships with Universities, grants, recruiting, marketing and growing sales in the education market.

Erica has been with Keysight Technologies/Agilent Technologies/Hewlett Packard for 17+ years holding various roles including product support, applications engineering, process management, business development, program management, and most recently sales channel management, in Keysight’s Power and Energy Division (PED).  She has brought numerous products to the market place, and ensured global sales channel readiness and alignment with customer buying processes to grow the business.

Erica has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with an International Minor in Japanese Studies from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado and has helped recruit from both of these schools.  She has long been involved with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and has a real passion for fostering communities of collaboration, mentoring and support.  Erica loves reading food blogs, volunteering in the community, dancing with her partner, Jason, and spending time with their two young children.

Keysight Technologies Executives

  Ron Nersesian
President and Chief Executive Officer

Ron Nersesian is president and chief executive officer of Keysight Technologies. He was president and chief operating officer of Agilent Technologies from November 2011 through September 2013 when Agilent announced the separation of its electronic measurement business. At that time, he was appointed Keysight president and CEO and has led the launch of the new company.

Nersesian began his career in 1982 with Computer Sciences Corporation as a systems engineer for satellite communications systems. In 1984, he joined Hewlett-Packard and served in a range of management roles during his tenure.

In 1996, Nersesian joined LeCroy Corporation as vice president of worldwide marketing. He subsequently assumed other senior management roles through 2002, including senior vice president and general manager of the company's digital storage oscilloscope business.

Nersesian joined Agilent Technologies in 2002 as vice president and general manager of the company's Design Validation Division. In 2005, he was named vice president and general manager of the company's Wireless Business Unit and manager of Agilent's Santa Rosa, California site. In 2009 Nersesian was named president of Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group.

Nersesian holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business. He also serves as an independent director on the Board of Directors of Trimble Navigation Limited. 

  Jay Alexander
Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer


Jay Alexander is senior vice president and chief technology officer of Keysight Technologies.

Alexander leads Keysight's technology development. He is responsible for driving product roadmaps and managing the company's resource allocation across divisions.

Alexander has held numerous leadership positions within Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group, including his most recent role as vice president and general manager for the Oscilloscope and Protocol Division.

Alexander joined Hewlett-Packard in 1986 as a manufacturing and test engineer. During his tenure, Alexander has served as a test engineering manager with P's Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers group; product planning manager for Agilent's Design Verification Division, marketing manager in Agilent's Network and Digital Solutions Business Unit and served as Agilent's electronic measurement architecture and business intelligence manager.

Alexander earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a licensed professional engineer and a senior member of IEEE. He holds 24 U.S. patents. 

Guy Sene  Guy Séné 
Senior Vice President, Measurement Solutions & Worldwide Sales

Guy Séné is senior vice president, Measurement Solutions & Worldwide Sales for Keysight Technologies.

Séné was most recently president of Agilent Technologies' Electronic Measurement Group. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of Agilent's Microwave & Communications Division.

Séné held a broad variety of positions in sales, marketing and support in Europe and Asia for Hewlett-Packard Company. He was promoted in 1999 to vice president and general manager of Agilent Technologies' Asian Field Operations. In 2003 Séné was named vice president of the Signal Sources Division and moved to Santa Rosa, California. He was appointed vice president and general manager of the Signal Analysis Division in October 2006.

Séné holds a diploma in electronic engineering, an MBA from Institut d'Administration des Entreprises, Paris, and an executive MBA from Michigan Business School.
