Tinkering 101: Inspiring Students With Hands-on Learning Tools and Techniques
This presentation will use real-world examples to show how hands-on learning for students makes engineering more fun to learn, instills confidence and better prepares students for future employment. Sam Fuller, Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer, Analog Devices will provide a brief overview of the Analog Devices University Program – hardware, software and course materials.  Professor Kathleen Meehan, Associate Professor in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia Tech will show  examples of how she is using the program at Virginia Tech.
