Graduating skilled engineers and scientists who are prepared to solve the great engineering challenges of our time requires equipping them to be as audacious and productive as inventors like Thomas Edison. One of the keys to Edison's success was his laboratory where, with access to all of the moment of inspiration. In this session, we'll discuss how cost, accessibility, and individualized learning have inhibited recreating the Edison experience, and how you can eliminate those barriers through the use of practical technology solutions that prepare students to do engineering.
