Minutes of Mid-Atlantic ECEDHA Regional Breakfast Meeting - March 25, 2013

The meeting started with a discussion of the date for the summer regional meeting. Mohamed Chouikha kindly confirmed the meeting will be hosted by Howard University this summer. The date that worked best for the attendees was July 26th -27th.

Topics for this meeting were decided as follows:

-          Curricular trends

-          ABET

-          High school/middle school outreach

-          NSF/DOE/DOD visits (since the meeting will be in Washington, DC)

-          Cybersecurity

-          Classes using portable labs (e.g. Mobile Studio board)

Mohamed will reach out to members of the ECEDHA Regional group to solicit speakers for the above topics.

The next two meetings were tentatively scheduled at the following locations:

2014 ECEDHA Mid-Atlantic Regional meeting       West Virginia University

2015 ECEDHA Mid-Atlantic Regional meeting       Penn State, Harrisburg
